Ghada Al Sayegh, a humanitarian protection professional and negotiation facilitator

Al Sayegh is a humanitarian protection professional with more than a decade of experience at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Lebanon and Iraq. She currently serves as Lebanon’s Missing Persons File Responsible, leading multidisciplinary efforts on post-conflict justice, data protection, and family accompaniment for families of missing persons.

She is a certified humanitarian negotiation facilitator with the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN). She designs and delivers humanitarian negotiation simulations and capacity-building workshops for frontline practitioners across the MENA region. She has also worked closely with families of missing persons, supporting them in strengthening their negotiation skills to engage with authorities and advocate for their rights, while promoting the meaningful participation of affected communities in peacebuilding processes.

Al Sayegh holds a Postgraduate Certificate in High Stake and Complex Negotiations from Harvard University, an Executive MBA from Université La Sagesse, and is a Certified Data Protection Officer through Maastricht University.
